For quite a long time, every beauty brand in the market is trying to make their products as natural, organic, vegan and harmless as possible. However, we all know that gel lacquers or nail lacquers are composed primarily of chemical substances. So the question is; can nail products be natural at all?
Before answering the question, let's understand the difference between organic and natural. Organic products are made from substances that are derived from a farming system, which uses no GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, artificial or synthetic colors, etc. Whereas, natural primarily means that the products come from ingredients that are sourced from plants, minerals and are never tested on animals.
Now back to our question. Can gel lacquers be natural? Some ingredients used in the composition of gel lacquers can never be of natural origin. One of those ingredients is Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate (HEMA), which is responsible for the structure of the gel. This means that gel or nail lacquers cannot be 100% natural.
However, this does not mean that other ingredients have to have chemical origins as well. noorb gelity products are utmost natural due to the pigments used. For the production of our gel lacquers we use 100% natural pigments derived from the stone minerals in the Armenian Highland. Besides natural pigments, we are completely cruelty free. Additionally, noorb gelity does not include the following 5 harmful substances: dibutyl phthalate, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and toluene.
